How to Use (Android)

Set up AI Detox on Android

Follow these steps to enable AI Detox. The Accessibility Service lets the app detect when a protected AI app opens and show a short challenge — everything stays 100% on device and private.

  1. 1) Open Android Settings → Accessibility

On your phone, go to Settings and find Accessibility. The exact location can vary by device.

  4. 4) Confirm the permission

Accept the system dialog to grant permission. This only allows AI Detox to detect when a protected app is opened — nothing else.

  5. 5) Test it

Open ChatGPT or another protected AI app. You should see a short challenge first. Solve it to proceed.
